There is a printer connection error (Zebra printers with Bluetooth connection)

  • Drag down from the top of the screen and ensure Bluetooth icon is enabled
  • From the Q-Mgr application, open the Main menu > Settings > Setup printer
  • Select Zebra as the Printer type
  • Select Bluetooth as the Connection type
  • Tap Find printers
  • Select the Zebra printer to complete the pairing

Note: if the printer still cannot be found, follow the steps in the "Connect Printer (Bluetooth)" page in the "Troubleshooting" section.


There is a printer connection error (Zebra printers with USB connection)

  • Make sure the Zebra printer is plugged into the tablet with a USB cable
  • From the Q-Mgr application, open the Main menu > Settings > Setup printer
  • Select Zebra as the Printer type
  • Select USB as the Connection type
  • Tap Find printers
  • Select the Zebra printer to complete the connection

Note: if the printer still cannot be found, follow the steps in the "Connect Printer (USB)" page in the "Troubleshooting" section.


My orders are not printing correctly on the label

1/ Nothing is printing

Start by checking the basics on the printer itself:

  • Is it plugged in and turned on?
  • Does it have enough label paper?
  • Is there a paper jam?

If all looks good physically, check the printer setup in Q-Mgr:

  • Go to Settings > Setup Printer from the main menu.
  • Make sure the Printer Type, Connection Type, and Selected Printer are all set.
  • If they’re blank or incorrect, choose the right configuration (e.g., Zebra and Bluetooth), then tap Find Printers to pair your tablet with the printer.

2/ The print layout looks wrong

If the text is misaligned or not fitting the label, the issue is likely with the label size or type:

  • Most sites use 2" x 4" sticky labels.
  • If you’ve switched to something else (like 4" wide continuous paper), you’ll need to update the printer settings to match.

3/ Testing your setup

You can send a test order at any time to check if everything’s working properly. Just go to:
Settings > Send Test Order from the Q-Mgr main menu.


My Zebra printer is feeding a blank label between printed labels (or general feeding errors like stopping in the wrong location)
You need to perform a Media calibration. Instructions in the "Media calibration" page in the "Troubleshooting" section.


My direct thermal printer is shooting out blank labels
You firstly need to check the print media (labels) are the correct type. Instructions in the "Test your labels (Direct Thermal)" page in the "Troubleshooting" section.
